Bill and Sharri Emmerling

Van Program Director and Accounting Manager

The Emmerling's Story
Bill and Sharri met at seminary in 1989 after earning their degrees in Physics and Accounting respectively. They married in 1990 with a desire to serve the Lord together and pioneer a Christian family. They have three adult children and three grandchildren.

After experiencing mental illness associated with childbirth and years of recovery, Bill and Sharri have written Wings of Victory to encourage others who suffer from mental illness and those that love them.

Bill and Sharri also enjoy providing hospitality to friends and “strangers.”

Faith
Bill and Sharri each came to know the Lord as their Savior during childhood.

Each attended campus ministries at different universities, which encouraged them to attend Lincoln Christian Seminary where they met.

Bill has been a high school science/math teacher and pastor. Sharri acquired significant accounting experience before finding at Righteous Rides.

Over the following years they have been involved in lay-ministry, bi-vocational ministry as well as full-time ministry. This experience included a church plant as well as serving a church in New Mexico attempting to reach the Native American community with the Good News of Jesus.

Both were excited to find a place where God would use Sharri’s skill set to advance the Gospel. Having developed a heart for world missions, Sharri loves having the opportunity to interact and pray with and pray for missionaries. And Bill is grateful to participate in serving missionaries through Righteous Rides
