PDX Hub
Portland, OR
Hub Coordinators: Jacob & Grace Gittlen
What is unique about your hub?
Our hub is unique in that both Jacob and Grace grew up in Mexico as the children of missionaries. We both have many memories of traveling the country in vans as our parents networked with friends and supporters. We know how great it is for missionaries to be able to arrive back in the US and not have to worry about transportation while they’re here.
In addition, Grace’s family has a long history of service with Righteous Rides. Grace’s dad, Fred, served for many years as Righteous Rides’ lead mechanic. Grace’s aunt Janice helps coordinate a hub in South Carolina.
Jacob works in public service while Grace is a nurse. We care greatly for Portland and are eager to see God moving in our city.
How could a volunteer help at your hub?
Putting together an individualized goodie bag for a missionary kid to enjoy on the road
Helping clean a van
Driving to the airport to meet a missionary, pray with them, and transfer a van to them
We would love for our hub to open doors for the body of Christ here in Portland to pray for missionaries alongside us. We believe that it’s a privilege to be able to join with those who are working to make disciples of all nations.
