LAN Hub
Lansing, MI
Hub Coordinator: Eric Vanden Bosch
What is unique about your hub?
The Lansing hub is the newest and most northern hub. In addition to the Lansing airport, here are three others within a hour drive – Flint, Detroit, Grand Rapids – meaning that Lansing is very accessible by shuttle, by Uber, or possibly by volunteer transportation. Many missionaries from further away have had friends or family drive them here to pick up a van at our location.
Eric Vanden Bosch is the Lansing hub coordinator, working closely with friends and fellow church members at South Church, which houses the hub. Being a newer hub, Lansing only has two vans, and is actively networking and building volunteer teams as well as supporters.
How could a volunteer help at your hub?
Our role at the hub is to clean vans, release vans to missionaries and coordinate returns, put together goody bags, maintain the vans, and fundraise for additional vans. We welcome anyone who is interested in serving in partnership on these tasks.
What are your prayer requests?
The Lansing hub is growing a team of people who are called to missionary care. We are seeking wisdom regarding the size of the need in this area for vans and the need from missionaries in this area. Please pray that we can connect with other local churches, mission agencies, and missionaries so that we can be known as a blessing to those who need this service.
