Visiting LeTourneau University
I often tell people that the ministry of Righteous Rides is like a “speck of dust” in all God is doing worldwide to accelerate the Gospel. Attending the LeTourneau Go Week certainly confirmed this thought. Go Week was an opportunity to bring the world of missions to students. Ministries and missionaries from the United States and around the world shared their stories in the cafeteria and conference center. Even on the sidewalks and in dorm rooms. Along with hearing stories, the students received invitations to join where God is at work.
The week was invigorating as we rubbed shoulders with and enjoyed conversing with so many amazing students. Every student has potential to serve the Savior. Who would even think otherwise? “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Righteous Rides is growing and our core team is not getting younger. As we reached out to these students and shared 11 years of God’s amazing faithfulness to this ministry we invited each of them to join us as we accelerate the Gospel in a very unique way. There are very few ministries providing transportation to missionaries and Righteous Rides is the only missionary transportation ministry we know of with a fleet of a 120+ vehicles! Every vehicle we have gives us an opportunity to serve more missionary families. There’s much work to be done! So we’ll continue to invite university students to be a “speck of dust” in what God is doing to accelerate the Gospel around the world! And, we will definitely attend next year’s LeTourneau Go Week.
