Michael Lindberg
Development Representative
The reality is that there are not enough resources to meet the needs. We need vehicles, we need to be able to maintain those vehicles, we need people to maintain them, etc. As a Development Representative, I work with giving partners, churches, businesses, and ministries in order to provide the necessary resources to fulfill this important and impactful work, and to send our missionaries “on their way in a manner worthy of God.” (3 John 1:5-8)
I believe that the Great Commission is not a suggestion, and should be the goal and intent of every believer’s life. As we see in Acts 13 with Paul and Barnabas, some are set apart and sent in a greater way, but the church as a whole was involved in the sending and continual support of these men. I believe it is absolutely Biblical that if you are not the one sent that you are a sender. I’m excited about this job as a way to raise awareness to this missional calling, and provide a direct opportunity to answer.
Furlough should be a restful and rejuvenating time for a missionary coming home, not more stressful and taxing. Often I’ve seen missionaries being sent back out more tired than they came, and that is not the heart of the Lord. They should be refilled and sent out with fresh resources and vision, and we are committed to helping see that through.
We would love for you to partner with us in prayer and financial support as we serve our missionaries and ultimately see that disciples are made of all nations, that the Lamb Who Was Slain would receive the reward of His suffering.
