Why We’re Adding Telematics modules

This initiative is rooted in our desire to care for you holistically. Here’s how telematics modules benefit you:

•  Enhanced Safety: The modules provide real-time feedback on driving habits, like speed or sudden braking, helping you stay mindful on unfamiliar U.S. roads.

•  Vehicle Maintenance: Telematics data helps us monitor vehicle health, reducing the chance of breakdowns, accelerating our support in the event of an issue, and keeping your travels as smooth as we can.

•  Insurance: Righteous Rides is working diligently to find better insurance options to make rental of our vehicles easier and more cost effective. All those potential options require that we have a driver safety program in place.

We understand that GPS monitoring might raise questions about privacy. We want to assure you:

•  Your Privacy Matters: The telematics modules are used solely to promote safety and vehicle maintenance. Data is securely stored and only accessed by authorized staff for safety or support purposes.

•  No “Big Brother” Monitoring: We’re not watching your every move. The system is designed to provide helpful insights, not to intrude on your personal time.

How It Works

The telematics modules collect basic driving data like speed, location, and vehicle diagnostics. You will be able to download an app that will provide you feedback on how safely you are driving. There will be incentives for those that are consistently safe drivers.
