SEA Hub

Lakewood, WA

Hub Coordinators: David & Vickie Weinz

What is unique about your hub?

We are the northwestern most hub in the United states, located about 130 miles from the Canadian border. We are close to Interstate 5, which provides North/South access from Canada to Mexico, and Interstate 90, which provides West/East access from Seattle to Boston. It is our goal to provide a loving, caring, smooth transfer of vehicles to our missionaries upon arrival and departure at SeaTac (Seattle/Tacoma) International Airport.

Our daughter and her family have been missionaries in Africa for about ten years and we understand that transportation while on furlough is of utmost importance. We thank God for the opportunity to serve our missionary community in this way.

How could a volunteer help at your hub?

We would welcome assistance in getting vans to and from the airport, preparing and cleaning vans for the next missionary family, and in creating gift bags for the children of missionaries. Providing a safe place to park vans that are not in use would appreciated.

What are your prayer requests?

The ability to provide inexpensive transportation for missionaries is a huge blessing and privilege, but we would like to do more than that. We pray that we can help in other ways as needs arise.
